WGSS celebrates 50 years with empowering scholarly activists such as: Alexis De Veaux, Beverley Guy-Sheftall, and M. Jacqui Alexander. Titled, “The Uses of Anger: WGSS at 50” is an ode to Audre Lorde’s speech, “the Uses of Anger” that was given at the National Women’s Studies Association in 1981.
