“Teaching in WGSS puts me in contact with scholars from a variety of disciplines and inspires me to increase the interdisciplinary nature of my own work. Working with students outside my field also means approaching my classroom in new and interesting ways. As a PhD student in History, teaching in WGSS also increases my marketability on the job market and allows me the opportunity to observe a diverse range of teaching styles.”
